Answers before you start, and as you work.
Questions are grouped by topic: whether Maestira fits your work, getting set up, prices and the trial, getting access, how clients book, and who sees which data. Each group ends with where to go next.
Booked an appointment with a business that uses Maestira? Use the link they shared, or your confirmation email, to change or cancel. You don't need an account.
Is Maestira right for your work?
Is Maestira for my specialty?
Maestira covers hair, barbering, nails, lashes, brows, skin and facial treatments, body treatments, hair removal, massage, tattoo, permanent makeup, tattoo and PMU removal and makeup, including device-based services. A business can combine several, with different booking rules per service.
I work alone, run a team or rent out rooms. Does it fit?
Yes. An independent professional runs their own workspace, including at a rented chair or room. A salon adds its team to one workspace. A rental studio records rooms, agreements and rent. A mixed studio keeps managed professionals and recorded renters in the same workspace. A format is a situation, not a plan tier.
Is Maestira medical or clinical software?
No. Maestira records what you decide and makes the next step easy to find: appointments, client records, forms, rooms and equipment, payments and settlements. It does not diagnose, select a treatment, set device parameters, decide who is eligible, prescribe intervals or predict results.
Does it do payroll, tax or fiscal receipts?
Team and rental settlements show how each amount was calculated from recorded work and the agreed rule, and record what was approved and paid. They are not statutory payroll or tax accounting, and the calculation does not determine employment status or VAT treatment. Maestira does not claim fiscal compliance for every country.
Will Maestira bring me new clients?
Maestira is software for running your business. Your booking page helps the clients you already reach book you without a chat, but Maestira is not a marketplace and does not promise you new clients.
Is Maestira available in my language and country?
This website is published in 27 languages. The application's language list and the payment methods available in your country are shown before you register; a translated page does not by itself promise a translated app or a specific payment method. Core scheduling and on-site payment records work regardless of online payment availability.

How long does setup take, and does it use up my trial?
Setup and import preview are separate from the trial, so take the time you need. Enter your services and hours, bring your clients and upcoming appointments, check the preview, and start on a day you choose.
What can I bring over from my current tool?
Clients, services with durations and prices, upcoming appointments, and your team and resources usually come across. Visit history, package balances, deposits and photos depend on what your export contains. The preview shows exactly what arrived; nothing is guessed, and no tool is promised a perfect import.
Will my clients get a message when I import?
No. Import sends nothing to anyone. Imported upcoming appointments get Maestira email reminders from your switch day, not before, so clients are not reminded by two tools. You decide how and when to tell clients about the change.
Can I keep my old tool running while I prepare?
Yes. Import, review and fix while your old tool is still taking bookings. On the day you choose, start working in Maestira, stop accepting new bookings in the old tool and replace your booking link wherever you placed it.
Does my team need accounts before I start?
No. You set up the salon, the menu, the resources and the people, import if you want, and check the preview. Each professional is invited when you are ready.
What if I have no export at all?
A notebook or a chat history has no export. Enter the appointments you have already promised and add regulars as they come in; the import tools work for the rest later.
Preview, errors, opening balances and the switch day, step by step: move your clients and bookings over.
What you pay, who counts and when the clock starts.
What does Maestira cost?
Maestira is €29 per month + VAT for the first professional and €9 for each additional one; Maestira AI is €49 per month + VAT for the first, with the same €9 for each additional one. Plans are monthly; there is no free plan and no booking limit. The payable total, including the tax for your country, is shown before you pay.
Who pays for staff?
The salon. Employed and managed staff use access the salon pays for and need no subscription of their own. Only people clients can book count. Receptionists and administrators who are not booked for services, rooms and equipment are not counted. A guest artist who runs their own business at your studio is a renter and is not counted. Someone who also runs their own business buys their own workspace for it and uses the salon's access in the salon's context, without paying twice.
Do independent renters have to subscribe?
Only if they want their own workspace. A renter you record with their rent and payments needs no subscription, and you can invite them to see their agreement, reservations and statements, and nothing else. A renter who wants their own calendar and client history buys their own workspace; linking it to yours adds nothing to either price.
Do I need a card? When does the trial start?
No card. The trial starts only when you choose to start taking real bookings in Maestira, not when you sign up, set up or import. After 60 days nothing is charged unless you choose a plan.
What does the trial include?
The 60-day trial covers Maestira without AI, including email confirmations and reminders. It includes no AI, SMS or WhatsApp credits.
Do I have to take payments online?
No. A payment made at the chair is recorded in one step, with the method and who received it. Online payment collection is optional; when you use it, the payment provider's fee applies. Maestira takes no commission on your bookings on either plan. Which payment methods are available depends on your country and the provider.
Are SMS and WhatsApp included with Maestira AI?
No. Delivery is paid separately, from your messaging balance at the visible rate per channel and country, whether or not AI drafted the message, with no automatic top-up by default. Email confirmations and reminders are included in every plan. Delivery cost is never billed as AI usage.
Can I buy Maestira AI now?
Maestira AI can be bought once its usage terms are published; until then it cannot be purchased, and we do not announce a date. Maestira works fully without it: reports, automation, import and export, packages and settlements are all included without AI.
Prepared AI examples are on the AI page.

What the main button does right now.
The button at the top of every page shows the current state: “Get early access” while access is not yet open, “Start your 60-day trial” once it is.
What happens when I press the main button?
The button tells you the current state. While access is not yet open, “Get early access” saves your request and we email you when your access opens. When access is open, “Start your 60-day trial” takes you straight to registration.
Does an early-access request start my trial?
No. A request starts nothing and costs nothing. Your trial is yours to start later, after access opens and you have registered.
What do I need to give to request access?
Only your email address. Your specialty, how you work and the tool you use today are optional. We do not ask for a phone number, a client file or a sales call.
When will access open?
We email the address you gave when access opens. We do not announce a date in advance. If the button already says “Start your 60-day trial”, access is open and you can register.
I already have an account. Where do I sign in?
Use Sign in at the top of the page. Early access changes how new businesses join; it does not affect signing in to an existing account.
I requested access earlier. What happens when access opens?
You register with the same email address; your earlier request does not block it, and the details you gave us carry over. Sending the form again in the meantime does not create a second request.

How your clients book, and what they need.
Do my clients need an account or an app to book?
No. The booking page opens in the phone's browser, including the in-app browser Instagram uses for links. A client books as a guest with a name and a contact that can receive the confirmation; there is nothing to install.
What contact does a client have to give?
An email address. Confirmations and reminders by email are included in every plan, so the booking page asks for one so the confirmation has somewhere to go. SMS and WhatsApp messages, if you choose to use them, are paid from your separate messaging balance and are never switched on by default.
How does a client change or cancel a booking?
The confirmation tells them how to change or cancel, and your booking page states your rules, such as notice for a cancellation, before they book.
Can clients pay online when they book?
Only if you turn online payment on; it is optional. Otherwise the client pays you at the visit and you record the payment in one step.
Will Maestira show my clients other businesses?
No. Your booking page and the messages your clients receive are about your business. We do not use them to promote other professionals.
I am a client. How do I book or change my appointment?
Maestira is software used by the business you book with. Book through the link that business shared with you, and use your confirmation email or contact the business to change or cancel. You do not need a Maestira account.
What the booking page shows your clients, and where to put the link: the booking link guide.
Whose records, who sees them and what you can take with you.
Who can see my client records?
Client history is scoped to the business that holds it. In a salon, owners and managers see the whole salon, the front desk sees the day, the clients and payments, and a professional sees their own schedule, the clients they serve and their own earnings lines. Nobody sees another business's clients. Maestira AI, where used, sees only what the person asking can already see.
Does importing a client list make those clients mine?
No. Import brings records into your business; it does not decide who owns a client or who else may serve them. One client can be a client of several businesses, and each holds its own history.
What happens when a professional leaves a salon?
Their access to the salon's workspace ends, and the salon's history, including their visits and settlements, stays with the salon as an accountable record. Future bookings, deposits and packages are not moved anywhere automatically, and your clients are not invited to follow anyone. A professional who ran their own business alongside keeps that business's records; the salon's records stay with the salon.
What can I export?
Export covers clients, appointments, visit history, notes, package and payment records, the photos and documents your business is allowed to keep, and the links between them, not just a contact list. It covers your own business's records, not those of a salon or studio you worked with.
What happens to my records when a trial or subscription ends?
New business use stops according to a transition policy. Existing records are preserved, existing client appointments are not cancelled by the system, and export stays available. We are finalizing the exact transition and archive periods; they will be part of the terms you accept before you pay, not a surprise afterwards.
Are the photos I take of clients' work public?
No. Photos and documents linked to a visit stay private. Publishing a piece to your portfolio is a separate, explicit step with its own publication permission, and private client links never appear in it.
How access works across a team: roles on the salon page. How a renter's records stay separate: rental studios.
Formal terms and privacy information: legal.
Your data and access requests.
What does the early-access form store?
Your email address and the optional details you chose to give: specialty, how you work, your starting point, the tool you use today, and any follow-up answers about your team size and country. We also note the site language, the page you sent it from, a broad category of how you found us (for example search or social), a referral code if your link had one, whether you said you are interested in Maestira AI, when you sent the form and how many times, and whether access was already open at that moment. If you later register with the same address, the request is linked to your account.
Will you send me a newsletter?
No. A request is not a newsletter subscription. We use your email only to contact you about access to Maestira.
Can I change my email or delete my request?
Yes. Email [email protected] from the address you used and say what you want changed or deleted.
To change or delete a request, email [email protected] from the address you used. How we handle personal information: privacy.
Did not find your answer?
Email [email protected]. Tell us your specialty, how your business is organized and what you use today, so we can answer the question you actually have. Please do not send client data. If your question is about an import file, a sample with invented rows is enough.
