Keep the whole project together, from enquiry to final session.
A tattoo is rarely one appointment at a fixed price. It starts as an enquiry with references, becomes a consultation, an estimate and a deposit, and then one or several sessions. Maestira keeps all of that as one project, with the client's references private and your portfolio curated separately.

Projects, not just appointments.
Enquiry mode, and direct booking for flash
A custom piece starts as an enquiry: a description, placement, size and references, with no time blocked. Flash from your sheet can be booked directly at a fixed duration and price. Per service, your choice.
References on the project
Images the client sends are stored once, linked to the project and private to your business.
Project with linked sessions
Consultation, sessions, notes, photos, estimate, deposit and payments on one project; sessions are appointments in your calendar. A consent form attached to the consultation or first session, filled once, kept on the project.
Variable estimate, deposit and your rules
Estimate and session durations are set per project when you know the piece. A deposit the client pays online where you have connected online payments, or that you record when paid in person, is counted once. Your cancellation and deposit rules are stated plainly before they book.
Optional portfolio publication
Your portfolio is a separate, curated set. Publishing a piece is an explicit action with the appropriate permission; client references and session photos never move there on their own.
Services, durations and booking modes
Example services with durations and prices. A starting point you change, not a recommendation. Your services, durations and prices are your own; a client only ever sees what you set.
Booking example: Flash from your sheet is booked directly at a fixed time and price. A custom piece starts as an enquiry; nothing is on your calendar until you book the consultation, and the estimate is yours to write after it.
Resident, guest or the studio itself.
Your own clients, wherever you tattoo
Your enquiries, your projects, your payments. Percentage or chair rent owed to the studio is recorded in your workspace; the studio does not need to join.
For independent professionals →A studio with guest artists
A guest artist who runs their own business at your studio is a renter and is not counted in your price: recorded with their rent and payments, their stations and dates. An artist who serves clients for your studio counts as a professional.
For rental studios →A studio with managed artists
Studio projects, each session traceable to the artist who did it, and the studio's share per session calculated by the agreed rule. Each artist can open their own lines and the rule behind them.
How each line is calculated: team and rental settlements.
For salons and studios →Bring your clients and upcoming appointments.
Import from a spreadsheet or an export, match the columns, check the preview and start on a day you choose. Nothing is saved until you confirm, and the import sends no message to your clients. Imported upcoming appointments get Maestira email reminders from your switch day, not before, so clients are not reminded by two tools.

- Projects: sessions usually arrive unlinked; you link them in the preview or later
- Deposits, as opening amounts for review
- Reference images, session photos and other documents your business is allowed to keep
A deposit held in your old tool comes in as an opening amount against the project or session, marked for your review. It is not a payment transaction in Maestira; it is money you already hold, counted once when the project is paid.
How import, the preview and the switch day work: move your clients and bookings over.
Sixty days to decide. A clear price after.
What you pay depends only on your plan and how many people clients can book. Maestira is €29 per month + VAT, and the base price includes one bookable professional: you, or the first person on your own team whom clients can book. Each additional professional clients can book adds €9 per month. Receptionists and administrators who are not booked for services, rooms and equipment are not counted.
Maestira AI will be €49 for the first professional and €9 for each additional one, once its usage terms are published; it is not sold yet.
The 60-day trial covers Maestira without AI. No card, no automatic charge. It starts only when you choose to start taking real bookings in Maestira, not when you sign up, set up or import.
Email confirmations and reminders are included. SMS and WhatsApp are paid from a separate balance with the rate shown before you send. Maestira takes no commission on your bookings.

Questions
Can price and duration be agreed later?
Yes. A custom service is an enquiry with no price or time attached. You consult, write the estimate on the project and set the session durations when you book them.
Can a project contain several visits?
Yes. A project holds the consultation and as many sessions as the piece needs, each an appointment in your calendar, with notes, photos, deposit and payments on the project.
Can ready designs use direct booking?
Yes. Flash or ready designs are services with a fixed duration and price that clients book directly, on the same menu as enquiry-only custom work.
What if a client no-shows or moves a session?
Your deposit and rescheduling rules are shown before they book and kept on the project; you decide what happens to the deposit.
Are private references separate from portfolio?
Yes. References and session photos are project materials, private to your business. Having taken the photo does not publish it.

Deposits and no-shows: how prepayment changes behaviour, and why
A no-show costs more than the service, because what is lost is the slot. But a deposit only fixes one of the four reasons people fail to turn up — and introduced in the wrong order it punishes your best clients.
Client photos: the three permissions people collapse into one
Agreeing to be photographed, agreeing to be posted, and agreeing to be kept are separate things. Which matters most on the day someone asks you to take a picture down.
Chargebacks: what happens when a client asks her bank to reverse the payment
The money leaves your account before anyone asks for your side. Why a chargeback is not a refund, the three things that trigger them in a beauty chair, and what actually counts as evidence.
