Keep complex appointments and client history together.
A color appointment has active work, waiting and a finish. Maestira books it as one appointment with its stages, keeps the client's last formula and notes next to it, and works the same for one chair or a salon with several stylists.

Record the result once. The formula lands on her card, the next visit is booked before she leaves, and the confirmation goes out by email.
Built for appointments that change shape.
Duration and price that vary
Each service has a default time and price. At booking you adjust both for this client: longer hair, an extra bowl, a treatment added. The calendar blocks the adjusted time and the client is told the adjusted total.
Stages and processing time
A service can be defined as stages: active work, processing, finish. The processing stage can be marked as open for a short service or kept blocked. Nothing is rounded to the hour.
Combinations and consultations
Color, cut and treatment can be one appointment with one total, or separate services the client adds. A service can require a consultation first; another can be booked directly. You set the mode per service.
Notes and formulas on the card
Formula, notes, preferences and linked photos stay on the client's card, scoped to your business, and open from the booking and at the chair. What you wrote in another salon stays there.
The next visit before they leave
Finishing a visit records the result and the payment and books the next color in the same step, while she is still in the chair.
Services, durations and booking modes
Example services with durations and prices. A starting point you change, not a recommendation. Your services, durations and prices are your own; a client only ever sees what you set.
Booking example: A client booking “Root color + cut” sees one 2 h 15 appointment at 10:00 and a total of €95 before she confirms. You see three stages. If you adjust the time for her hair, her confirmation shows the adjusted time.
One chair or a whole floor.
Your own chair, or a rented one
Your calendar, your client history, your formulas. If you rent a chair, record what you owe the salon in your own workspace; the salon does not need to be on Maestira for that.
For independent professionals →A salon with several stylists
One menu, services assigned to the stylists who offer them, each stylist's day in one shared view. Earnings per stylist are calculated from the appointment and the agreed rule, and each stylist can open their own lines and the rule behind them.
How each line is calculated: team and rental settlements.
For salons and studios →A salon that rents chairs
Chairs with occupancy, rental terms per stylist and a visible paid or outstanding state. A stylist renting a chair is recorded with their rent and payments and is not counted in your price.
For rental studios →Bring your clients and upcoming appointments.
Import from a spreadsheet or an export, match the columns, check the preview and start on a day you choose. Nothing is saved until you confirm, and the import sends no message to your clients. Imported upcoming appointments get Maestira email reminders from your switch day, not before, so clients are not reminded by two tools.
Usually comes across
- Clients with contact details and notes
- Services with durations and prices
- Upcoming appointments with their stylist
- Stylists and chairs, matched to yours
Depends on your source
- Visit history
- Formulas, if your export has them as notes
- Stage structure: an exported “Color, 2 h” arrives as one block; you add stages once per service
- The photos and documents your business is allowed to keep
An imported service keeps the duration your export had and is labeled as imported. A service with no duration in the export is shown as missing and waits for yours; Maestira does not fill it in with a guess, and it never invents a formula from a visit note.
How import, the preview and the switch day work: move your clients and bookings over.
Sixty days to decide. A clear price after.
What you pay depends only on your plan and how many people clients can book. Maestira is €29 per month + VAT, and the base price includes one bookable professional: you, or the first person on your own team whom clients can book. Each additional professional clients can book adds €9 per month. Receptionists and administrators who are not booked for services, rooms and equipment are not counted.
Maestira AI will be €49 for the first professional and €9 for each additional one, once its usage terms are published; it is not sold yet.
The 60-day trial covers Maestira without AI. No card, no automatic charge. It starts only when you choose to start taking real bookings in Maestira, not when you sign up, set up or import.
Email confirmations and reminders are included. SMS and WhatsApp are paid from a separate balance with the rate shown before you send. Maestira takes no commission on your bookings.
Full pricing with team examples on the pricing page.
Questions
Can duration vary by client or service?
Both. Each service has a default duration and price; at booking you adjust them for the client in front of you. The calendar blocks the adjusted time and the client's confirmation shows it.
How does processing time affect availability?
A service can be defined in stages, and the processing stage can be marked as open for short services or kept blocked. If you open it, the calendar offers that gap for services short enough to fit; if not, the whole block stays yours. You decide per service.
Can a consultation come first?
Yes. Set a service to “after a consultation” and the booking page offers the consultation; you book the main service after it. Other services on the same menu can stay direct.
Can a salon use the same menu with several stylists?
Yes. One menu for the business, each service assigned to the stylists who offer it, with each stylist's own hours. Adjustments for speed or hair length are made at booking, so the menu stays one list.

Booth rent or commission: how to work out which is better for you
The choice is not a matter of temperament — it is the point where two lines cross, and you can calculate it. Plus the part most comparisons leave out: whose business the clients book with under each model, and what that means for their records.
Client records: what to write down so the result is repeatable six weeks later
Memory copes while the list is short. After that comes "remind me what we did last time" — a small phrase that quietly turns you into any other professional she could book.
Leaving a salon: what is actually yours
The decision takes a week and the consequences take six months. What you take with you, what stays, where the line runs on records, and the order that keeps both the clients and the relationships.
