Make room for the details of every nail appointment.
Removal or not, infill or new set, a design on two nails or ten. Each choice changes the time and the price. Maestira works it out before the client confirms, and keeps the photo of the result on her card for next time.

Record the result once; the photo lands on her card. The next visit is booked before she leaves.
Every choice has a time and a price.
Removal and infill as their own choices
A new set, an infill and a removal are different things with different times. Removal can be an option on a service, so a client who arrives with a set from elsewhere books the time it really takes.
Extras that change the booking
Art, extensions, a repair: add-ons with their own minutes and price. The client sees the combined time and total before confirming; you see the choices on the booking.
A calendar that blocks the real duration
One hour fifty of work takes one hour fifty in the calendar. No more squeezing a removal into an infill slot.
Photos linked to the visit, optional
A result photo or a reference the client sent is stored once and linked to the visit or the client, private to your business. Your portfolio is a separate, curated set you publish on purpose.
Rules she reads before booking
Your cancellation and deposit rules, stated plainly on the booking page before she picks a time, so a late cancellation is not a surprise to either of you.
Services, durations and booking modes
Example services with durations and prices. A starting point you change, not a recommendation. Your services, durations and prices are your own; a client only ever sees what you set.
Booking example: A client sends a photo and asks for “this”. The service “Something like this photo” is set to request: nothing is on your calendar until you look at the picture, reply with a time and a price and confirm.
A home studio, a rented desk or a studio with six.
Your own business, wherever the desk is
Home studio or a desk rented in a salon: your calendar, your clients, your photos. Desk rent you owe is recorded in your workspace; the salon does not need to join.
For independent professionals →A nail studio with a team
Desks as resources, services assigned to the techs who offer them, and each set traceable to the tech who did it.
How each line is calculated: team and rental settlements.
For salons and studios →A studio that rents desks
Desk occupancy, rental terms per tech and a visible paid or outstanding state. A tech renting a desk keeps her own business and is not counted in your price.
For rental studios →Bring your clients and upcoming appointments.
Import from a spreadsheet or an export, match the columns, check the preview and start on a day you choose. Nothing is saved until you confirm, and the import sends no message to your clients. Imported upcoming appointments get Maestira email reminders from your switch day, not before, so clients are not reminded by two tools.
Usually comes across
- Clients with phone numbers and emails
- Services with durations and prices
- Upcoming appointments
Depends on your source
- Menu variants: one “Manicure” exported as several services
- The photos and documents your business is allowed to keep
- Past visits
If your old tool had “Gel new set”, “Gel new set + removal” and “Gel new set + art” as three services, they arrive as three. Keep them, or make removal and art options of one service. Nothing is merged without you.
How import, the preview and the switch day work: move your clients and bookings over.
Sixty days to decide. A clear price after.
What you pay depends only on your plan and how many people clients can book. Maestira is €29 per month + VAT, and the base price includes one bookable professional: you, or the first person on your own team whom clients can book. Each additional professional clients can book adds €9 per month. Receptionists and administrators who are not booked for services, rooms and equipment are not counted.
Maestira AI will be €49 for the first professional and €9 for each additional one, once its usage terms are published; it is not sold yet.
The 60-day trial covers Maestira without AI. No card, no automatic charge. It starts only when you choose to start taking real bookings in Maestira, not when you sign up, set up or import.
Email confirmations and reminders are included. SMS and WhatsApp are paid from a separate balance with the rate shown before you send. Maestira takes no commission on your bookings.
Full pricing with team examples on the pricing page.
Questions
Can removal change the appointment length?
Yes. Removal can be an option on a service with its own minutes and price. When a client switches it on, the calendar blocks the longer time and her total changes before she confirms.
Can a client request an unfamiliar service?
Yes. Set a service such as “Something like this photo” to request. The client sends the picture and a message, nothing is blocked in your calendar, and you reply with a time and a price before confirming.
Can I keep design references?
Yes. A reference the client sends is attached to the booking or her card, stored once and private to your business, and it stays out of your portfolio unless you publish it.
Can I set cancellation and deposit rules?
Yes. They are shown on the booking page before she books. A deposit is paid online where you have connected online payments, or recorded when she pays in person.
How do I move existing bookings?
Import upcoming appointments from your current tool's export or a spreadsheet, or type the next few weeks by hand. Check the preview, then pick the day you switch. The import sends no message to your clients.

Sterilising tools between clients: the question is not your salon, it is each tool
"Do I need an autoclave" has no yes-or-no answer, because it is not a question about your business. A fifty-year-old framework settles it tool by tool — and it also explains the step almost everyone skips.
When a client is late: the question is not how long to wait
She is twenty minutes down, saying five minutes away, and the next client arrives on time. The workable rule is about what can still be done properly — not about how patient you are willing to look.
Raising your prices without losing your clients
The decision gets postponed for years, and rarely because of the arithmetic. Here is when it was already overdue, how to announce it, and who genuinely leaves afterwards.
Every set, with its time and its photo.
Request access now. When it opens, bring your gel menu and the next three weeks and watch a removal add its twenty minutes before she confirms.
