The history belongs to your business.
Each client's visits, your notes, her preferences, forms and the photos linked to earlier visits are in one record, scoped to your business. If you also work shifts on a salon's team, the salon's records and yours stay separate: the salon does not see what you did elsewhere, and your workspace does not pull in the salon's clients. Photos are stored once and stay private; publishing a piece to your portfolio is a separate step with its own permission.

The visit is Amira's revenue, recorded to her. The chair is the studio's; nothing about Hanna goes to the studio.

The rent is a separate obligation Amira tracks against the studio. The studio is recorded with its rent and payments; it does not need Maestira for this. If the studio does use Maestira and both agree, it sees that Chair 4 is taken on Thu and Fri, not who sits in it.
Your revenue and your rent, kept apart.
Payments to you
A payment made at the chair is recorded in one step, with the method. Collecting payment online is optional; when you use it, the payment provider charges its own fee. Maestira takes no commission on your bookings on either plan. Where you worked does not change who the money belongs to.
Rent you owe
Fixed rent, rent by time or a simple percentage of an agreed base, with an effective date. Each period shows what accrued, what you paid and what is outstanding. A rate change applies from its date; earlier periods keep their figures.
Nobody has to join for your workspace to work.
Your landlord needs no account at all. If you prefer, you can invite them later to review the agreement and the rent statements, and nothing else. If the studio also uses Maestira, sharing busy time on a chair is a separate choice from sharing any client information; the first does not imply the second. And if you take shifts on a salon's managed team as well as running your own business, you use the salon's access in its context and your own workspace in yours; the two do not merge.

Switch on a day you choose
From that day, new bookings go into Maestira; replace your booking link that day. Imported upcoming appointments get Maestira email reminders from your switch day, not before, so clients are not reminded by two tools.

Add a person when you need one. Record a renter without adding to your price.
If you take on a second professional whom clients can book, that is one additional bookable professional at €9 per month + VAT. An assistant who answers the phone and is not booked for services is not counted. If you rent out a chair in your own space to someone who runs their own business, they are a renter you only record, and that adds nothing to your price. Questions from people who work alone
My landlord does not use Maestira. Does that matter?
No. You record the studio with the agreed rent, and track what accrued, what you paid and what is outstanding yourself. If you want, you can invite the studio later to review the agreement and the statements; that is all they would see.
I work in several places. Does that work?
Yes. Each appointment has a location, your week shows all of them, and your clients book the place and time you offer. A rented chair or room is a location with a rental agreement attached, nothing more.
Is my client history independent of the places I work?
Yes. Your clients' records are scoped to your business and travel with it. A studio where you rent a chair has no access to them. If you also serve a salon's clients as part of its managed team, that history belongs to the salon business, and it is not pulled into your workspace.
Own subscription or salon-funded access?
If you run your own business, you buy your own workspace. If you are an employee or managed professional of a salon, you use access the salon pays for and need no subscription of your own. You can be both at once, in two separate contexts, without paying twice for your place on the salon's team.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Export covers your clients, appointments, visit history, notes, package and payment records, the photos and documents your business is allowed to keep, and the links between them. It covers your own business's records, not those of a salon or studio you worked with.
